石頭是大自然中充滿可能性的存在，小到沙粒，大到山脈，在陸地上流動著，包容著世間萬物。阿美族人與土地擁有深刻的連結，世代守護著土地，與土地和諧共生。石頭充滿可能性的樣貌，無論風吹雨打始終如一，如同阿美族人捍衛自身文化與土地堅定不移的心，緊密地團結在一起。以停格動畫作爲創作手法，將Makotaay豐富的地景生態作爲主角，利用石頭的相似性及多變的形態，逐一地放到時間軸上，會發現每一顆石頭都是那麽與衆不同並充滿生命力，就像阿美族人中的每個成員一樣，都是這個大家庭中不可或缺的一份子。讓我們從另一個角度重新認識石頭，重新認識阿美族人堅定不移卻柔軟的心。

Stones are existences full of possibilities in nature, from sand to mountains, flowing on the land and embracing everything in the world. The Amis people have a profound connection with the land, guarding it for generations and living in harmony with it. The appearance of the stone is full of possibilities, and remains the same regardless of wind and rain, just like the Amis people’s unswerving heart to defend their culture and land, closely and united together.

Raito Low

劉靜怡，來自馬來西亞，現居台灣，為停格動畫創作者。現就讀於國立臺灣藝術大學多媒體動畫藝術碩士班，同時為來多創作工作室負責人、寶藏巖國際藝術村微聚工作室「51門」成員。秉持實驗動畫精神，以自然物做為近年主要創作媒材，找尋個人生命經驗與自然之間的共通之處，創造人文與自然結合的視覺語彙。個人導演作品有《菲索》《綻放之種》《花簇在婆娑中綻放》等，曾入圍國内外逾百個影展。與《阿鼻劍》文字作者馬利共同出版《我們如水流動》，並作為停格動畫師參與作品包含《山川壯麗》《病玫瑰》《熱帶複眼》等。

Raito Low Jing-Yi, an animation director from Malaysia based in Taiwan. Specializing in stop-motion animation. Currently studying at NTUA MAA master’s program, director of Raito’s Art Studio. Adhering to the spirit of experimental animation, using plants as medium to create visuals that combine humanities and nature. Personal work including <Fisso><Blüte><Blumentanz>, has been shortlisted in more than 100 film festivals. Published “Like Water, We Flow ” together with Ma Li.
